15 Aug, 2017 The Twister Fruit Picker®: Road Trip to California and Arizona
The Twister Fruit Picker® traveled to California and Arizona in late spring this year. In northern California, scenic Lake Shasta was full – 215 billion gallons of water had flowed in since Feb 1, 2017.
As we traveled from northern to southern California, we observed green pastures, flourishing fruit orchards and numerous wildflowers. Last winter’s rainy weather brought a very abundant spring!
In southern California, many grapefruit, orange, and lemon trees were still bearing fruit. The fruit we sampled was juicy and sweet. As we traveled to southern Arizona, the temperatures warmed up, but the landscape was still very green. Even though the weather was hotter and dryer, it is still ideal for growing citrus. The cacti were blooming and the fruit trees producing.
The Twister Fruit Picker® is ideal for picking a variety of citrus because of its lightweight design. It is engineered to go into dense citrus trees in a closed position without catching on the branches. We really enjoyed picking and eating the delicious citrus of California and Arizona.
